Designer Story
Welcome to the wondrous world of Andrea Diodati, where we delight in mixing and matching fun, flirty prints inspired by our favorite decades gone by. You'll never, ever catch us making a white tee! We don't make basics because we believe clothing should be as individual and as expressive as YOU.

We don't make basics because we believe clothing should be as individual and as expressive as YOU. We make the exclamation marks to your outfit with prints that pop and design details that delight. We warn you when you wear our optimistic designs, strangers will start smiling at you on the street, people will want to chat at the grocery store, and you may start to see the world a lil' more rosy.

We say it's hard to have a bad day when your wearing Andrea Diodati, because your clothes will be smiling all day long!

Andrea Diodati's namesake line started in 2012, after being a featured designer on the Sundance Channel's All on the Line, with ELLE Magazine's creative director, Joe Zee. Diodati is a graduate of Parsons the New School for Design. Do we look familiar? You may have seen us in ELLE, Artforum, Susie Bubble, Time Out NY, The Village Voice, Tom & Lorenzo, Entertainment Tonight, or Fashion Projects.

Q+A
WHAT MADE YOU WANT TO BECOME A DESIGNER?

I wanted to become a designer as soon as I realized it was a profession and that it was okay if I didn't work an office job. It was a big moment, when I stepped back from my life, dropped out of an academic university and realized I wanted to pursue creativity. So thankful I did!
WHAT DO YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT BEING A FASHION DESIGNER?

What I love most about being a fashion designer is playing with color, print, texture, and design details until a dress becomes more then a garment; it becomes a signifier and symbol of self expression and identity.

WHAT HAS BEEN YOU BIGGEST CHALLENGE?

The biggest challenge is finding enough time in one day to carry out all the responsibilities that are necessary to keep a company thriving. Sales too!

WHERE DO YOU GET YOUR INSPIRATION?

Inspiration comes from living. There is so much beauty and complexity in the most mundane of days. Friendship and kindness is always an inspiration.
