We are based in England and have a deep love of traditional quality but always with a modern twist. And at our core we are devotees of the highest quality design – this is what makes us (and our audience) happy.  We are unashamedly digital in approach with crisp, computer generated, vector creatives and eye-popping colour and our products are made with the highest quality silks and are hand finished by experts. We call this Vector Decadence. Tatty Devine meets Pucci!

These products are for people who love to be different but appreciate high quality materials and a product that lasts. Flamboyant and confident, the Furious Goose consumer likes to make an impact with unique pieces that are conversation starters as well as gorgeous to wear.

WHAT MADE YOU WANT TO BE A DESIGNER?

I have always been a visual creature, even as a child. I grew up in the very rainy (if lovely) city of Edinburgh, Scotland and fought constantly through my clothing, hair, nails and attitude to banish the grey forever. I specialised in Fine Art and Printmaking at university where I finessed a deep appreciation of aesthetic beauty. My career then developed into corporate graphic design, website design and branding which has been a brilliant way to develop my digital skills to the highest level. However something was missing for me and so one year ago I decided to start Furious Goose to bring back the colour and sheer joy of creating something which has no purpose other than to spread pleasure.

So far it's been the best decision I've made in a long time. There is no better feeling than seeing someone enjoy wearing one of Furious Goose's products. It makes this Goose very happy indeed.



WHAT DO YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT BEING A FASHION DESIGNER?

I love designing objects d'art that have no purpose other than to delight. It feels right in a gloomy world of bland, mass consumerism to be producing tiny gems of design that are rare, out there and that make people smile. The world needs more colour and I love delivering it.



WHAT HAS BEEN YOU BIGGEST CHALLENGE?

The biggest challenge (thankfully achieved) has been honing the production to the highest standards without moving production outside the UK. "Made in the UK" is important to the brand but only if the quality matches anything that can be produced elsewhere (say Lake Como in Italy).



WHERE DO YOU GET YOUR INSPIRATION?

Inspiration comes from graphic design, typography, literature, fine art and nature. And science. And tattoos...OK from everywhere! The most important thing is that every design tells a story. More than just beautiful patternation or colour.
