Q+A
WHAT MADE YOU WANT TO BECOME A DESIGNER?

It just happened, I used to make jewelry pieces for my mother since I was a little kid with random elements that I found in the house. Looking for treasures on my grand parents attic and using organic things that used to collect on our family vacations, I start creating little wearable objects.
WHAT DO YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT BEING A FASHION DESIGNER?

What I love the most is designing, creating and traveling, being a fashion designer is just the result of the combination of my love for Art, its history and also my little rebel inside. This rebel doesn’t want to follow trends or regular statements. So this is what I love the most of being a fashion designer, this freedom feeling that I get when I create my own unique pieces.

WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR BIGGEST CHALLENGE?

My biggest challenge was creating my wife engagement and wedding ring, took me more than three months to come up with the design and another two to build what I've projected. After researching for weeks and studying the history of symbolic wedding rings, one morning walking down on 5th Ave. suddenly I see this amazing Art-Deco building and the inspiration I was looking for appeared so clearly.

WHERE DO YOU GET YOUR INSPIRATION?

My inspirations come mostly during my trips, discovering new cities and they usually take form on my regular meditation moments.
