Their curatorial endeavors began in 2002 culminating in the foundation of Live With Animals Gallery in Brooklyn along with Tania Ryalls and Bonnie Pipkin. The gallery presided over numerous art exhibitions, performance pieces, live music, and experimental theater. Windish and Michel held their first collaborative exhibition, Symbiosis in Exoticaat Live With Animals. As founding members of the bands Golden Triangle and K Holes, they formed and recorded at the gallery before signing with record labels and touring extensively. In 2012 they launched their clothing line Windish Michel, incorporating their singular vision into artwork as functional apparel.

CAMERON MICHEL is an American artist and musician. Working in painting, installation, sculpture and photography, Michel’s iconographic collages skillfully engineer macrocosmic landscapes where the architectural and biological converge in impressive magnitude. His work has figured notably as album art, exhibited widely in Europe and North America, and featured in multiple publications such as Anthem, Duke University, and Juxtapoz.

VASHTI WINDISH is an American artist and musician. Drawing from her interests in tribal ritual, fantasy, and the complex artistry inherent in nature, Windish works widely in installation, sculpture, performance and music. Her work skillfully integrates organic and botanical material with textile, inspired by masks and ritualistic regalia of indigenous tribes, thus envisioning a futuristic trajectory of the primal and atavistic.
