The Anne Sofie Madsen AW15 collection was created from finding a harmony in a made up place between an unmemorable past and an unimaginable future, as mentioned in the Anne Sofie Madsen press release. The inspiration for the collection was also found in the idea of time traveling.

Silhouettes were meant to give a sense of fusion between the sphere of masculinity and femininity forces, which was created using deconstruction and many layers. Among other things sent down the runway were asymmetric tops and dresses that had decorative ruffles applied now and then.

Colors were kept mostly in the darker tones such as black, grey, pale green and earth colors with a few light soft beige and white silhouettes.

As always details played an important role in the Anne Sofie Madsen AW15 collection when embellishments, cords and fur were added as ornaments on tops, skirts and dresses. For example, the eye-catching pieces such as the dresses, looked like body ornaments yet they also sculptured the body.

The beautiful accessories completed this collection thanks to an innovative and vibrant designer collaboration between Anne Sofie Madsen and Danish Jewelry Designer Maria Black. These extravagant showpieces would be perfect to bring sophistication to an everyday out-fit.

Overall Anne Sofie Madsen presented a strong and modern AW15 collection that was full of individuality.
